2205 Duplex stainless steel pipe is defined as the stainless steel with half ferrite phase and half austenite phase in the solid quenching structure, referred to as 2205 stainless steel pipe.
Propertities
2205 duplex stainless steel pipe has excellent mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and good weldability. It is widely used in oil and gas industry, offshore engineering, chemical industry and other industries.
The length of oil and gas pipelines laid with duplex stainless steel materials in the oil and gas industry has exceeded 850km, most of which are 2205 duplex stainless steel seamless steel pipes, and some are S31803 duplex stainless steel pipes and 2507 duplex stainless steel pipes. Due to the corrosive nature of the natural gas transmission medium, 2205 duplex stainless steel is used for the high-pressure pipeline of the west to east gas transmission project.
