321 stainless steel Round Bars, also known as UNS s32100 and 321 grades, consist mainly of 17 to 19 percent chromium and 12 percent nickel. 25%-1% silicon, 2% maximum manganese, trace phosphorus and sulfur, 5 x (c+n). 70% titanium, the rest is iron. In terms of corrosion resistance, 321 is equivalent to grade 304 under annealed conditions, and 321 is superior if the application involves services in the range of 797 ° to 1652 ° F.
