TISCO composite material plant high-purity magnesium calcium sand production line put into operation in November 2020, the line is mainly for Shanxi Luwei Fort TISCO Refractories Co., Ltd. to provide magnesium calcium brick production quality raw materials - high-purity magnesium calcium sand. The varieties of high purity magnesia calcium sand products are mainly divided into MCa-20, MCa-30, MCa-40, MCa-55 four, and the production of MCa-20, MCa-30 these two magnesia calcium sand products, need to match the proportion of purchased raw materials light burned magnesia block is large, can not highlight the plant's light burned dolomite advantage, so has been, according to user demand, the plant production products are mainly MCa-40. The production of MCa-40 needs about 30% of purchased light-fired magnesia blocks and 70% of self-produced light-fired dolomite. The purchase of light-fired magnesium block, due to the epidemic, weather, environmental protection and other factors, there is often the risk of out of stock. And the production of MCa-55 raw materials completely using the composite material factory self-produced high-quality light-fired dolomite, can avoid these risks. In order to eliminate the influence of raw material market monopoly, environmental protection and epidemic, the plant decided to develop new product MCa-55 after consultation with users.


The production of MCa-55 requires production adjustments in terms of feeding, batching, discharging and transportation. In terms of process, the calcination process for the production of MCa-40 and MCa-55 is also slightly different, and timely process adjustment is also required after the conversion. In the process of conversion, the plant's roasting operation area management personnel follow the whole process, requiring employees to adhere to the principles of fine-tuning, more observation and diligent laboratory tests during operation, to ensure quality and fine process operation, enhance the sensitivity of employees to changes in process parameters, and improve the overall operating skills of employees. In the actual operation of the conversion, the feasibility of the conversion program was tested, and the problems and shortcomings in the conversion process were exposed. During the production of more than 1,000 tons of new products, the conversion plan was further improved, the adjustment of process parameters was continuously verified and stabilized, and finally an optimal set of process parameters was obtained.


At the same time, the production of MCa-55 also reduced raw material costs and made a new breakthrough in oil consumption reduction. The production of MCa-40 requires purchased raw materials costing more than 300 yuan per ton than lightly burned dolomite, so the production of MCa-55 can save a larger portion of raw material costs. During the conversion process, the refined operation makes the air and oil distribution of rotary kiln calcination more reasonable, reducing the oil unit consumption by more than 50 kg per ton, which also lays a solid foundation for the system to continuously reduce energy consumption.
