Properties of 316Ti
Aisi316ti is a titanium version of 316 stainless steel. Stainless steel grade aisi316ti contains a small amount of titanium in its alloy composition. Titanium content is usually about 0.5%. Titanium atoms strengthen the type 316 structure at temperatures above 800 degrees Celsius. This helps to avoid carbide precipitation at grain boundaries and protects the material from corrosion. Aisi316ti, also known as 316Ti, can be maintained at high temperature for a period of time. Most of the mechanical properties of type 316 remain the same in aisi316ti grade.
