The process of hot rolled
To process Hot Rolled Pipe, start with a large rectangular metal called a billet. The billet is heated and sent for pretreatment, where it is flattened into a large roll. From there, it is kept at a high temperature and reaches its finished size through a series of rollers. The hot steel strand is pushed through the roller at high speed.

Benefits of hot rolled
Hot rolled steel usually requires less processing than cold rolled steel, which makes it cheaper. Because hot rolled steel can be cooled at room temperature, it is basically normalized, which means that it has no internal stress generated during quenching or work hardening.
Hot rolled steel is ideal if dimensional tolerances are less important than overall material strength and surface finish is not a critical issue. If surface finish needs to be considered, scale can be removed by grinding, sandblasting or pickling. After dirt removal, various brushes or mirror finishes can also be used. Descaled steel also provides a better surface for painting and other surface coatings.
