321 Stainless Steel Pipe is an austenitic chromium nickel stainless steel and is recommended for parts manufactured by welding that cannot be subsequently annealed.
304/304L/321
321 Stainless Steel Pipe is a chromium nickel austenitic stainless steel, usually 800-1500 ˚ F temperature range, in which chromium carbide precipitation is stabilized by adding titanium, resulting in titanium carbide precipitation. Type 321 has excellent intergranular corrosion resistance after exposure to this temperature range. This grade can resist up to 1500 ˚ F has higher creep and stress fracture properties than 304/304l. It also has good low temperature toughness and is non-magnetic under annealing conditions.
