Tolerance

1. Length tolerance

For ASTM A106 Gr.B seamless and welded pipes, if a definite cutting length is ordered, the length should vary within the range of -0mm/+6mm.

2. Weight tolerance

For ASTM A106 grade B NPS 12(DN300323.8mm) and below pipelines, the weight should vary within the range of -3.5%/+10%. For A106 GR B pipeline above NPS 12(DN300323.8mm), the weight should vary within the range of -5%/+10%. ASTM A106 GR B pipes with NPS 4(DN100114.3mm) and smaller sizes can be weighed in convenient batches; A106 steel pipe larger than NPS 4 shall be weighed separately.

3. Quantity tolerance

Generally, ASTM A106 class B pipe manufacturers adopt a tolerance of -10% to +10%, but the trident steel keeps a variation of 3%.
