Inconel 686's corrosion resistance
686 alloy has good corrosion resistance in acetic acid, acetic acid, formic acid, stearic acid and other organic acids, and moderate corrosion resistance in inorganic acids. The high purity water used for primary and secondary circulation in nuclear reactors has excellent corrosion resistance.
