Characteristic

1. The Inconel 601 plate is a non-magnetic nickel-chromium alloy whose properties include high temperature strength comparable to 18-8 alloys and high resistance to organic and inorganic corrosion.

2. The Inconel 601 board performs well in the temperature range from low temperatures to 2000°F.

3. It shows excellent resistance to alkaline solutions and chloride ion stress cracking due to its high nickel content, and high resistance to sulfur compounds due to its chromium content.

4. The Inconel 601 board is also resistant to steam, steam/air mixtures and carbon dioxide. It has good machinability and weldability.
