Hastelloy C4 is a nickel based alloy with improved thermal stability. The tungsten is omitted and the content of the iron is about 1%. Hastelloy C4 performs with good ductility and corrosion resistance after aging at 650 to 1040C due to its phenonemal high performance stability. This material is used in a variety of chemical process environments due to its exceptional resistance. C4 has better resistance than C276 highly oxidizing media.
