HASTELLOY® C-22® wire alloy is very weldable and easily formed. It does not matter if you are using a gas tungsten arc, a shielded metal, or gas metal arc, this alloy can adapt to any method. This is because it naturally prevents the development of grain boundary precipitates. This is not always the case with other alloys, which makes C-22® very versatile, and the ideal wire for situations where an irregularly shaped device must be used in an area that would be too corrosive for normal wiring.
